Exciting Opportunity for Night Shift Nurses!

Job Description:


- Contract Guarantee: 72 hours biweekly on all assignments (on-call time not included).
- Shift: 12-hour night shifts, with a commitment to every other weekend.
- Weekend Schedule:
- Days: Saturday and Sunday
- Nights: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
- Floating Requirements:
- Primarily in 4-hour blocks.
- While rare, floating every 4 hours could happen.
- Certifications Required:
- BLS (AHA)
- ACLS (AHA)
- NIHSS (preferred)
- Critical Skillset:
- Must be able to titrate pressors (please include in your write-up).
- Experience:
- Level 1 trauma experience is preferred.
- If no prior travel experience, Level 1 trauma knowledge will be required.
- Technical Skills:
- Epic experience required.
- Patient Ratios:
- Expect ratios between 1:3-5.
- Responsibilities may include floating to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU, and other boarding units.
- Testing Requirements:
- Day one pass/fail testing will be administered.
- Relias practice tests available through Relias.
- Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be separated from the previous institution for a minimum of 6 months to be considered (includes perm, per diem, contract).
- Start Dates: Weekly on Mondays.
- Approval Process: Manager approval required.
